Cleaning out the house? The Farm Market collects gently used toys, clothes, household items, and non-expired nonperishable foods for The Fathers House, a charity/food pantry which is completely nonprofit and is based out of a church in Altoona. This organization takes your old stuff and distributes it for free to local folks in need. All you have to do is bring your clean items with you on your next visit to the Farm Market, and we’ll take care of the rest!
*Donations accepted year-round. Find a collection cart inside the front of the farm market. ALL items gladly accepted, with a particular need for winter clothing during the winter.

The sign was temporarily removed in late October. It sure is strange not having it there. PennDOT and subcontractors will be moving electrical poles and cutting trees in preparation for mid-summer work in the creek. There will be new dikes put in the creek for erosion prevention. This will be prep work for a really fast 13 day ‘rapid bridge replacement,’ mid-July 2018! Stay tuned for updates.
